Mobile technology By Ian Robinson I wholeheartedly agree with the intel I just rated, that I also get lost by the complexity of mobile phones now. I have trouble getting into my address book in my current phone let alone dealing with my voice and sms messages, and as for news weather and stock exchange reports who needs them! I need a satellite phone at my farm aside from my landline if I wish to be fully contactable 24/7 but if people realise they are about to ring a sat phone at $5 per minute they usually won't bother. I used to divert my mobile to my land line when I left town to come to the farm when it was a weekender and I was here about every 3rd weekend. Now I live here most of the time I cannot afford the costs of the diversion.
