My Pride and Joy By Ian Robinson After taking early retirement and moving to my farm I thought I would find lots of time to work on my models. How wrong could I have been. I have several model car kits that need painting and assembling, and they are still packed away for someday when I have the time. My helicopter has a siezed engine, just gummed up from lack of use, so I have pulled it down and still no closer to fixing it. The area in my shed of about 6x5 meters is still packed full of things I moved out here and until I build extensions my model railway layout is sitting against a wall. And now I am spending so much time on things I never thought about that it will probably be another year before I get the railway layout set up again and start rebuilding my perfect layout that will allow me to display all the wonderful new locomotives and wagons that I am buying all the time. And then of course there are my project cars that I need to finish off so all my boys toys can be used once again. But at least I am healthy and have plenty of time ahead of me to enjoy all of my interests without the pressures of having to go to work and only using the weekends for my hobbies.
